RECIPE FROM "SANDY'S
As much leftover turkey that you can pull off the bone.
Leftover broth that you cooked the turkey in
4 large carrots, cut up
4 potatoes, diced in 1-inch cubes
4 ribs of celery, chopped
2 onions, chopped
Three cloves of garlic, minced
Poultry seasoning to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Corn Starch or gravy for thickening
Pull as much turkey off the bone as possible. Put turkey in a large kettle and add broth. (If you used the original turkey broth to make gravy for a previous dinner, use two cans of canned chicken broth.
Bring to a low boil over medium heat and add the remaining ingredients, including anything else that you would like to add.
Thicken with cornstarch or gravy to desired consistency.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
