Tropical Dump Cake

Ingredients

2 (20-ounce) cans crushed pineapple, undrained

1 (18.25-ounce) package white cake mix

1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut up

2 cups pecans, toasted

Ice cream

 

Directions

Drain 1 can crushed pineapple and spread all the pineapple on bottom

of a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

Sprinkle cake mix over fruit.

Dot evenly with butter and sprinkle with pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until

golden brown and bubbly.

Serve with ice cream.

 

Cherry-pineapple Dump Cake

Ingredients

1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained

1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

1 (18.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix

3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Ice Cream

 

Directions for Cherry-Pineapple

Spread drained pineapple on bottom of lightly greased pan (size above).

Top with cherry pie filling and sprinkle cake mix evenly over fruit.

Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until

golden brown and bubbly.

Serve with ice cream
