Squash Casserole

Ingredients

1 pound yellow squash, sliced

1 medium onion, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspon pepper

1 teaspoon sugar

14 crackers, crushed

1 cup grated cheese (cheddar I hope)

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup milk

1/2 cup butter

Directions

Cook squash and onion with salt. Drain.

Add remaining ingredients, reserving enough cracker crumbs for top.

Put into well-greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and set in a pan of water.

Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
