Sandy's Strawberry Fruit Dip
6 Very Large Strawberries or 8 medium ones
1 (16-ounce) Carton Sour Cream
4 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar (or more to taste)
In a blender or food processor, blend the strawberries and sour cream. Add the cream cheese and sugar. Blend until entire mixture is creamy and smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve as a dip for fruit, or as a topping for strawberry shortcake.
Note: When we use this for shortcake, we just cut up our strawberries and put them on top of the shortcake. We pour the strawberry fruit dip over the top ... and it is absolutely delicious!
