Sandy's Crockpot Chicken Supreme


4 boneless chicken breast filets

1 package dry boxed Chicken-flavored stuffing mix

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup dehydrated mushroom slices

1 (10-3/4 ounce) can Cream of Mushroom Soup

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup cooking sherry wine

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon thyme

1/8 teaspoon pepper


Lay chicken breasts in bottom of crockpot or slow cooker. Cover with stuffing mix, mushroom slices, thinly sliced onions, condensed soup from the can, water, and cooking sherry, in that order. Last, measure into your hand the garlic powder, thyme, and pepper. With your other hand, sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top.

Cover and cook 3 hours on low.

Sandy's Note: Add a baked potato or mashed potatoes, and you have an easy, quick, and delicious meal for 4 people.
This is also good with celery soup and sliced celery in lieu of mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms.
