RECIPE FROM "SANDY'S
Ranch-Style Family Pie
1 pound lean ground beef
2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup prepared creamy ranch salad dressing
1 cup milk
2 cups buttermilk baking mix
2 green onions, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Cook the beef in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink, stirring to break up.
Spoon into prepared dish and top with the tomatoes and broccoli.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Combine the cheese, sour cream, and dressing in a small bowl. Spread over broccoli.
Whisk together the milk, egg, baking mix and onions. Pour over contents of baking dish.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
Serves 5 to 6
