PUMPKIN CHESS PIE
1/2 (15-ounce) package refrigerated piecrusts
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
1/2 cup Half-and-Half
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Place piecrust in a 9-inch pieplate; fold edges under and crimp.
Put pumpkin and next 9 ingredients in an electric blender or a food processor
and process until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides.
Pour pumpkin mixture into prepared piecrust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until knife inserted
in center comes out clean.
Cool completely on wire rack.
Serve with Praline Sauce over each piece.
