PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE

 

INGREDIENTS

1 (12 ounce) jar creamy peanut butter

1 (7 1/2 ounce) jar marshmallow creme

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped salted peanuts

2 cups sugar

2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar

3/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup salted peanut halves

 

DIRECTIONS

Combine peanut butter, marshmallow creme, vanilla, and chopped peanuts in a large bowl
and set aside.

Combine sugar, milk, and salt; stir well.

Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.

Boil 4 minutes, stirring ocasionally.

Remove from heat and pour over peanut butter mixture.

Stir quickly until well blended.

Pour into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and sprinkle with peanut halves.

Allow candy to cool for at least 2 hours.

Cut into squares.

YIELD 3-1/2 dozen squares
