3/4 cup flour

3/4 cup finely chopped pecans(now that's southern!)

4 tbs. melted butter

3 tbs. granulated sugar

2 tbs. brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla




Combine above and press on bottom of 9" springform pan.

 At this point you may want to encase pan with heavy duty foil in case of leakage
( I had no problem with leaking)



2 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened

1 1/4 cups sugar

2 Tbsp. cornstarch

3 eggs-room temp.

2 cups ripe pureed bananas

1 cup dairy sour cream

1 1/2 tbs. lemon juice

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. cinnamon


Beat cheese until creamy; add sugar and blend thoroughly.

Add eggs 1 @ time blending well.

Add cornstarch and blend in well.

Add remaining ingredients, and pour over crust.

Place in water bath to come 1/2 way up sides.

Bake in 350 degree oven until just set 55-60 min. or according to your oven.

Let cool before chilling.
