JERRY'S BOURBON BABIES
package (16 ounces) cocktail wieners or 1 package good-quality hot dogs,
cut in 1-inch pieces on the diagonal.
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Jack Daniels whiskey (more, if you're feeling frisky)
In large skillet, brown the wieners about 3-4 minutes over medium heat, shaking the pan to prevent burning.
Reduce the heat to low and add the ketchup and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Remove from the heat, add the whiskey, and serve.
YIELD Approximately 30 bite-size appetizers
