Horseradish Pickles

Ingredients

1- 32oz. jar whole Vlasic pickles (I use Claussen Hearty Garlic Wholes)

5 oz. jar horseradish - NOT the kind with mayo in it (I use Gold's)

2/3 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup water

1-1/2 to 2 cups of cups sugar (I use about 1-3/4 cups)

 

Directions

Drain pickles, (discard the juice) and cut into chunks.

In a glass bowl, mix pickles and horseradish together.

In a saucepan, bring remaining ingredients to a boil, then pour over pickles.

Cool and refrigerate overnight.

Put pickles back into pickle jar and keep refrigerated.
