RECIPE FROM "SANDY'S
Horseradish Mashed Potatoes
8 large baking potatoes
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish (I prefer Gold's "hot" variety)
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
Pierce potatoes with a fork and bake at 450 for 1 hour or until done. Cool slightly.
Split potatoes. Remove potato pulp and discard skins. Mash pulp in a large bowl.
Stir butter and next 7 ingredients into mashed potato until mixture is smooth. Sprinkle evenly with crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.
This is delicious!
