RECIPE FROM "SANDY'S
Homemade Creamed Corn
2 1/2 cups Yellow corn (fresh from cob or frozen)
1 cup cream (not half-and-half)
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer (uncovered) for 30 minutes (or until thickened). Serve warm as a side dish.
