Grandma Martin's Potato Biscuits

Ingredients

1 cup warm mashed potatoes

2 tbsp. butter, softened

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 tsp. baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon honey

1 cup buttermilk

Directions

Mix all ingredients together well.

Sprinkle a little flour on a dough board and add just enough flour to the dough that it loses its stickiness. Knead for about a minute. Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut biscuits with cookie/biscuit cutter and bake at 400º F about 10 to 15 minutes, or just until lightly browned. Note: Do not overbake.
