RECIPE FROM "SANDY'S
Georgie Porgie Pudding Pie
1 cup flour
1 stick butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup confectioners' sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
3 cups whole milk
Mix together (like pie dough) flour, butter and 3/4 of the pecans. Reserve 1/4 of the pecans for top.
Press mixture into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes. Cool.
Using an electric mixer, mix confectioners' sugar, sugar and cream cheese until well blended.
Fold in 3/4 of the Cool Whip. Reserve 1/4 of the Cool Whip for top.
Spread this mixture over top of cooled first layer.
Mix chocolate pudding and vanilla pudding with 3 cups milk.
When set, spoon it over second layer.
Spread reserved Cool Whip over the top of third layer and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup of chopped pecans.
