(This recipe dates back to 1941)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp real vanilla
2 Baby Ruth Candy Bars, cut in very small chunks
In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
Beat in the egg.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375F
Drop by half teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375F (190C) degrees for 10 to 12 minutes for each batch.
